Amigurumi Plusle Free Pattern

Like I said, I would publish this pattern as fast as I can. And here is it! I spend a little time to correct the tail, because when the first time I make it, the tail was too big for its body. I also had a problem when I make the cheeks with felt, especially for a cross on the cheeks. Well, I'm not so good at using scissors (lol).
Oh! Almost forget, for the ears I'm using colors changing, it is not really confusing, but you need to extra focus when you work on it. So, you don't make any mistakes. Just follow the instruction and you'll be fine!

Amigurumi Plusle has a same height with Amigurumi Minun, is about 5.5 inches. You can find Amigurumi Minun pattern here!

Materials :

Yarn (Sport/5ply) Cream and Red.

Crochet hook. I’m using 2.5mm crochet hook. *Feel free to choose your own crochet hook and yarn weight.

Felt (Cream,Red,Black, and White). For the eyes,cheeks,mouth(optional, you can use embroidery thread to make a mouth just like what I did to Minun).

100% polyester stuffing.

Glue and scissors.

Embroidery thread and needle.

Tapestry needle.

Abbreviations:
st = stitch
sc = single crochet

ch = chain

inc = increase, crochet 2 stitches in one sc
dec = decrease, crochet 2 stitches together

sl st = slip stitch
f/o = finish off

Head

Using cream yarn.

1) magic ring with 6st (6)

2) inc in each sc (12)

4) [sc 2, inc] around (24)

5) [sc 3, inc] around (30)

Leave a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff the ears.

Arms

Start with red yarn.

Change to cream yarn.

6-10) sc around (15), sl st and f/o

Leave a long tail for sewing and stuff the arms firmly.

Legs

Using cream yarn.

Leave a long tail for sewing. Start to stuff the legs when you want to sew into the body.

Foots

Using cream yarn.

7-8) [sl st 3x, sc 3] (6), f/o

Leave a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff the foots.

Tail

For tail, there will be two part.

Part one

Using cream yarn.

1) magic ring with 6st (6)

2) inc in each sc (12)

3) [sc 3, inc] around (15)

4-5) sc around (15)

Leave a long tail for sewing and stuff this part firmly.

Part two

Make 2. Using red yarn.

1) ch 5, begin in the second ch from the hook, sc 4. Turn.

2-3) sc 4. Turn.

4) sc 4, ch 5. Turn.

5) Begin in the second ch from the hook, sc 6. Turn.

6-8) sc 6. Turn.

9) sl st 6x, ch 3. Turn

10) Begin in the second ch from the hook, sc 4. Turn.

11-12) sc 4. Turn.

13) sc 4 and f/o.

Leave a long tail for sewing.

Make one more and sew them together.

Assembly
This assembly is only advice from me. You need to use your imagination. Just play with the placement. 

1) Sew the head onto the body.

2) Sew the ears onto the head.

3) Sew the legs to the body. I placed the legs in between round 5th and 12th. Make sure you stuff it firmly before you sew all of the gaps.

4) Sew the arms to the body. I placed the arms directly under the head.

5) Sew the foots to the legs. I placed the foots directly under the magic ring of the legs

6) Sew the tail. I placed the tail in between round 7th and 11th.

Faces

I’m using felt for the eyes,cheeks, and mouth(optional). I placed the eyes in between round 11th and 14th with 6st between them. I placed the cheeks in between round 13th and 18th.

For the nose and mouth I’m using embroidery thread. The nose is in round 14th and for the mouth you can use felt or embroidery thread.
